So, when folks think that the "next big thing" is just around the corner and might easily, and quickly, push aside Blu-ray, they better think again. It ain't that easy, nor that cheap, to create the "next big thing" in entertainment media. Toshiba learned a lesson that is likely not lost on others. Don't go it alone. Plan a better short- and long-term strategy.
And, if you do screw up, get out as quickly as possible before you lose even more money, and prestige.
