I watched Enemy Mine recently after letting it languish for far too long on my shelf, and I have to say, it was actually pretty decent. I was expecting a campy 80s film saturated with cheese but was instead surprised to see a respectable treatment of several topical issues.
[Show spoiler]I especially liked that, true to his word, Davidge not only raised the baby born of his once-enemy, but also passed on some elements of his cultural heritage. Pretty progressive, if you ask me
