The TT blu-ray may not be recalled or even reissued by TT, but this transfer(dark tint and all) will probably be used on any future blu-ray release of this film by TT, Sony, or any other company.
I do think it would be interesting to hear Savini's current opinion on this and even anything else he may wish to comment on regarding his 1990 NOTLD. Besides maybe his opinion and him knowing various fans' opinions would have some influence on any future releases of this film.
So will I hear from Savini or will he post here? I'd give it a 50% chance either way.
