Denny McClain & Mickey Lolich(I was a pitcher & they made me want to be better). The hard game for me in that series was when Bob Gibson vs. Denny McClain, b/c I loved Bob Gibson a lot too. But I had to root for my main pitcher Denny McClain!
Here it is 45 yrs. later & I still love my Detroit Tigers. Justin Verlander is my new McClain & Lolich
