What a crappy article -- typical of internet journalism these days. All title and no beef. Not enough information as to how perception of the unit was "damaged" by this. What did people not like? What did MS feel they needed to gloss-over?
Sour grapes, as far as I'm concerned.
In this case, it just amounted to people learning the truth about a product before marketing spin took advantage of peoples' ignorance. If MS would have put out a product worth calling new and exciting in the first place, they wouldn't be having this problem.
