Or, You could play your current 1080P BD movies in a future 4K BD Player and Ultra HDTV, that will likely work up to double the resolution of 1080P , which is what i am planning on doing when the time comes for that. I would think that any current 1080P BD movie would be able to play in any future BD Player and Ultra HDTV, in double the resolution of 1080P with a progressive scan rather then an Interlaced scan. That's considering that i can play all my old Dvds in 1080P, on my Blu-ray player and HDTV that both work up to 1080P.
