When your format your PS3 HDD so you can run Linux, can you use 10gb for Ps3 and the rest for Linux?
Also, is there any other way you could change the amount of space you use?

Thanx people, your always a help and I really appreciate it.

AFAIR you can select either one to have the 10GB and the rest for the other partition .. there are a bunch of sites that provide detailed walkthrus for the different Linux flavors..

I plan to set it up with the GAME OS having the bigger partition and here is why...

Linux OS and installed apps will unlikely surpass 10GB and I plan to then use an external USB drive for any data and content so it can be transferred back and forth to the Game OS..if you make the GAME OS partition too small then you may limit your game download and other content choices etc in the future.. Just my 2 cents worth. It's also possible to plug-in usb drives that load apps dynamically etc if you use linux...again more flexible in the future if need be.

I thought I read the partition size is a bit larger if you have put in a larger HDD as well..but that one is a bit sketchy so don't quote me on it.
