No, no, you're confusing it with the federal law that Stan Lee gets a documentary made about him every
six months, on pain of imprisonment.
Either way, it's the same reason, they have a lot of spare retirement time and need the money.
(Although, yes, there HAVE been a lot of attempts to remind us of Corman's glory days, once he started to work for SyFy and Epix.)
