If he thinks season 3 was "boring", then he'll never be pleased and you should ignore all future opinions from him. Someone can't get murdered in every episode, someone can't get arrested every episode. Some people expect a shootout every week and when that doesn't happen it's labeled as boring.

im not gonna lie season 3 was pretty slow in parts but still amazing and
fly was one of the best episodes of the series
