Sometimes the subs are good and sometimes there not.. some english crews I perfer over there original like blue seed particular, and the english ghost in the shell cast is the voices I hear when I think Ghost in the shell.

To each their own, I can watch some anime in English, but most I just read the subtitles, I guess it's the way it's wired in my head
Now, the Ninja Scroll series, the voice overs were great, and of course cowboy bebop is probably the standard that people compare to.
I haven't seen the 2nd Ghost in the shell movie in a very long time, but as I recall I didn't enjoy it as much...
