Since a lot of what we discuss on this thread is directly related to our vision and materialistic things. Thoughts for the day (and season) to put things into perspective –
1. Don’t take your vision for granted. If you don’t already, make it a New Year’s resolution to get yearly ophthalmic exams even if you are having no vision problems that you can detect with normal daily living, as there can be ‘silent disease processes’ lurking in your eyes doing irreversible damage and you don’t have to be an ‘old person’ to have them, such as Pigmentary Glaucoma (not saying that Cecil is challenged with that malady though)
2. Giving, can feel more rewarding than receiving and there are a lot of good people out there…still.
3. Dogs rule.
