Gas is such an issue because we don't see the value of it like other purchases. It is also something that we purchase more regularly. Most people buy gas and groceries on a weekly basis. There is not as much whining about the increase in food costs, but gas on the other hand...
Anyway, back to the thread. $3.88 roughly in San Jose, CA area. Expect it to hit $4 average across the US by summer, settling back to $3.50 - $4 average in the US by the end of the year. Like the previous post, Amazon = $0 in gas. If you still pay for shipping, get prime either by buying into it or selling your four extra spots.

I think raising gas prices is an issue. I think it's a factor with the increase in the cost of living. After all increasing gas prices will have an effect on food prices simply because it cost more to deliver them to the store.
