I think people are confused by what the OP meant. He did not mean the gas it takes to drive and get a movie, he means spending more money in gas taking away from free spending money we have left on our checks. The extra 50-80$ I am spending on gas lately a month certainly cuts into my extra spending including Blu-ray here and there. In fact I have not bought a Blu-ray for months. Been too broke lately and gas is certainly a contributing factor among other things for me.
