If this same day HD VOD become a reality then it could be the death of movie theaters. Of course if movies are produced in high quality 3-D then people will still go to the movie theater. If this same day HD VOD actual happens one day for a fee of $60 for one time viewing then hopefully a same day BLU-RAY movie will sale for $200.
