Many people complain that their PS3 does not support IR remote and so will not work with their universal remote control.

Actually, I think that the other components of the home theater system should be bluetooth and solve the whole aiming problem. As an interum solution perhaps Sony could produce a bluetooth to IR repeater similar in concept to the one manufactured by Logitech/Harmony. IR transmiters are controlled by RF and placed next to the components IR receiver. The bluetooth to IR repeater could be controled by the PSP with some new software or by a new bluetooth remote.

Is there any way to make new product suggestions to Sony? This could be a great product and offer another advantage to the PS3/PSP home entertainment system.
