I hope you know you really aren't getting HD audio.
Especially from a HTIB from Samsung. I can tell you a few things. You should upgrade your reciever if you want real HDMI audio. If your HTIB system is HDMI pass-through, which it probably is, you're only passing the video. If you're using that built-in DVD player for your entertainment, then you're definately not getting HD audio formats. Plus, those bundled speakers aren't that good of quality and I guess you mean those speakers are 8 Ohms, not 3 Ohms. Please clarify!
