I say that because most box sets I've found seem to be a random out of order mess of movies, some of them even including the dreadful Matthew Broderick mess thrown in with the Toho ones.
Anyway, any other Godzilla fans here that can point me in the best direction?

I believe the Godzilla with Matthew Broderick is supposed to come out on BD sometime this year. My fantasy (well, at least ONE of them) is for TOHO to commission THX to restore all of the classic 'Zillas, and release them on BD. My favorites are: Ghiddrah The Three Headed Monster, King Kong vs Godzilla, and Destroy All Monsters. The 1990's Godzilla movies did nothing for me. However, Godzilla 2001, Godzilla vs Megaguris and Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (the newest one), are some of my favorites. Among all of the Toho films, I also like Rodan. All of these films are available on DVD here in the USA. One that is not on commercial DVD is War of the Gargantuas.
Simply search Amazon.com for all your Godzilla needs (on oldray DVD). It is doubvtful that classic Toho Godzilla will ever make it to Blu-ray in pristine (restored) video and audio quality.
Long live Godzilla.
