To Live & Die in L.A. (1985) is an underrated masterpiece. I missed it when it came out in the '80's & didn't see it until the DVD. The Blu that came out a while back is one of my favorite's in this format...Excellent story, incredible car chase scene, and the panorama scenes of L.A. at dusk are truly sublime. The synth soundtrack by
Wang Chung is also amazing. Though all of the acting is great, special Kudos to Willem Defoe & John Turturro....

Ice Pirates, agree this is a hilarious film - as a kid, I saw this in the theater back in '84.
Another film few know about is
Blair Witch Project 2: Book of Shadows (2000); excellent & IMHO quite creepy flick that got lost in the shuffle for some reason....I actually liked this better than the original film - it's more along the lines of a mainstream horror movie, and even if you didn't like the original you should check this out...
