No, I didn't, and I won't. Quite frankly, I want these movies, and I got them for a great price (about $8 apiece), so I'd still make out well if I just bought replacement cases. Which I will do.
I certainly wouldn't return them and ask for new copies, because they'd probably arrive just as damaged. The only other option -- if I want the movies -- is to buy them at local brick'n'mortar stores (assuming I could find them anywhere local) -- and I'd end up paying considerably more for them. Not really a sensible option.

will email FoxConnect to tell them the problem, and that I'm displeased. That may have no effect, maybe it will. Who knows? Maybe they'll send me replacement cases for free. Maybe they'll pester Cinram to ship with better protection.
This is actually the second time I've ordered from FoxConnect. The first time, I got the two Elia Kazan collections, which were in 4-disc Elite cases in slipcases. Those arrived in perfect shape. If memory serves, they were in padded boxes.
