personally, i'd go with a BR player. the new pio should be amazing and same with the sony. if i could, i'd go with any of the second gen platforms unless you want to save some money. with your setup (awesome BTW), you should be fine but will not have hdmi 1.3 compatibility. this basically means you will need the player to either decode the sound or output over analog outs.
personally, if money is not the issue, go the new pio
