I've been saving for a few months now and am up to about 4K. I am looking for a TV for gaming, HD sports, and movies. When I originally started saving it was for a Pioneer PDP 5010FD - 50" KURO plasma TV. Right now I am getting ready to purchase and before I drop that large of a chunk of change I decided to come ask others about the pros and cons.

Is this a good all around TV for my needs? Will it handle gaming well? I figure its a lock for sports and movies but the gaming issue is the one I have no experience with it on.

Any thoughts and opinions are appreciated.
