I agree 100%. Creator approved should always be the way to go.
Alas, these days, with so many armchairs out there that think they know more than the actual people that made these films, I fear "Creative Intent" becomes a sliding scale that some will use to "fit the bill".
"Creator approved" has been, and always will be the final straw for me.
