Whilst everything sounds good, he some times finds it lacking something, like occasional track is being held back from being full of life and immersive, like a live concert (which is meant to be the Naim sound)
I'm far from an expect so thought I'd ask on here - Any advise?

Dad may not be used to the Tannoy DC10T's sound. They are know as being balanced - but not per say refined. If hes looking for the typical audiophile highs - he won't get it with the Tannoy. They are phased aligned and produce a very soothing sound. He may want to invest in the Tannoy super tweeter to get that top end or Live sound that he's missing.
Even though the Naim is know for a live sound - the only 2 things that you really hear or listen to in a system are the speakers and the room.
