^ The Shemaroo version had poor colors (faces appeared green on a few instances). The sharpness was semi-decent, IMO. As prepress bro stated in his post, the DEi version was the best.
Reasons were :
- Direct film to NTSC (24 fps) encoded; hence, progressive.
- Had better colors, not greenish and ugly.
- Sharpness and detail was good.
- Audio was in its original fomat (i.e., mono)
The saddest thing was that it was a non-anamorphic DVD, cropped heavily on the sides, to about an aspect ratio of 1.90:1
The one by Netflix seems to top it all. Detail and sharpness could've been better, but this is the best form of Andaz Apna Apna.
