For my Philips BDP9000, no matter what settings I choose (incl. TV) it will stretch when upconverting (except on the 480p setting). This was an issue identified early by some users and we hoped for a firmware update to solve it but it never came.
TY all for the info on the PS3. I have my PS3 already and am now just waiting form my new receiver and spkrs to come
I probably won't get a single game for it until Final Fantasy comes out.
