I'm not talking about the new kind which cut a tongue and slit to "stitch" the paper together. This is a crimping device. I have the "Eagle Clipless Paper Fastener" which is a good quality copy of the original "Paper Welder".
Not a bad device. Seems to work better on 24lb paper (which I use) rather than 20lb paper. A few sheets sems to work better than just two when using thinner paper. Did as many as 9 sheets with double crimping though 6 seems to be the practical limit.
Also crimped a business card to a sheet of paper which would make a nifty impression in business mailing.
Got it on ebay for 15 bucks as the sole bidder because most people are probably unaware of the Eagle brand copy. The Paper Welders go for much more!
