What's happening to my discs?
Hi guys maybe some of you can shed some light on this. A lot of my blu ray discs seem to have this bronzing type thing going on at the inner hub. Seems to be some sort of chemical thing happening. It mainly affects Warner, Paramount and Universal discs. These always seem to have a messy finish on the hub as opposed to the smooth finish of the likes of Sony discs. When I rub with a white cloth it leaves a residue on the cloth, see pics. Discs are all stored at average room temperature. Is this the beginning of disc rot?
