But... and I hate to go here, a problem of this movement has already dawned on me. She mentions things that guys go through. But ultimately HeForShe's focus is on women. Well men standing up for women. Now in itself that is a fine idea. Yet as her speech points out, we need to come together as one for the betterment of all of us. It should be both genders trying to help women, both genders trying to help men, all people learning to empathize and find ways to make our lives better for each and every one of us.
It shouldn't be HeForShe. It should be HeForShe-SheForHe-SheForShe-HeForHe. All of that but in a simpler way to say it of course.

Turning the focus even more on helping men would muddy the waters so much that it might as well not even mention feminism and be another "humanitarian" speech or whatever. Which is fine but not what she's aiming for, I think.
