Well, part of this is a semantics exercise. As Emma Watson noted, the word "feminist" has for some odd reason been twisted into "man-hater" or "man-hating". Earlier this year, Shailene Woodley denied being a feminist because she loves men and doesn't hate them. Clearly, even the most well-meaning of people get basic definitions wrong.

As Snicket and Infernal King pointed out, though, HeForShe needs a clear agenda moving forward. Do they have a game plan? Let's hope so.
