As for the Academy, look no further than the 2008 awards when Zodiac got completely snubbed. Not a single nomination. That movie was great on many levels. Again you go over the argument. What about bardems character is similar? Youve failed to answer the argument you brought up. And read my previous post about the joker it said and I quote "Everyone loves the joker the jokers cool. The joker was cool before ledger did it. The joker was cool before nicholson did it. The joker was cool before hamill did it. These guys have all different interpretations in voice, makeup, some are cartoons, some are live action, some are comics, graphic novels. The mythology around the joker cant all be acredited to ledger. So please stop blowing this out of proportion." I love the joker too. Heath ledger is a different story. Again im not saying hes poor in the film. Im saying it wont be the greates performance of all time like many make it out to be.
