Been listening to the soundtrack for Encanto the last few days, and it's been growing on me. I'm not sure if it was just the seats or the audio or what, but there were a fair amount of lines that were a little hard to hear during our showing. It could also be the nature of Lin-Manuel Miranda's songs. In almost everything he's done, they're all so fast and clever and full of double meaning that they take a few listens to really get all the details. It's a really fun, unique Disney soundtrack, and I remain steadfast in my opinion that LMM is a genius. |

And yeah, I'm really liking the soundtrack as well. I'm so mad the CD didn't get released the same time as the movie!
