Sorry, I was refering to Fox releasing titles this year.

Yes, they are sort of with us. They are promoting Blu-ray, and supporting Blu-ray. The problem is they aren't currently releasing anything on Blu-ray.

And, it is that last one that really counts.

So, no Fox in 2007: Blu-ray domination
Fox in 2007: HD DVD armaggedon

Fox represents the extra firepower to obliterate HD DVD.

Well said. Even better if warner bros and dreamworks (nearly say dreamcast ) announce BD-exclusivity

in my own perspective the best in hi def should be available and that would be Bluray. but going back to an act of desperation after all releasing their best releases would be an act of desperation.
Blu-ray's act of desperation (if that will ever happen - which I doubt) will be much much more huge. Besides, HD DVD's desperado can be countered by Blu-ray without trouble as they have more titles exclusive to them.

Yeah that wasn't too long ago, I suppose that's a film that no ones wants to associate with their beloved Fox.

why? I liked it and my nephews liked it, it also sold many DVD and many BD copies at the time.

It is not like Universal releasing old titles no one was interste4d in when they came out and with such bad transfers that a good up scaling DVD player can beat just so that they can say HD DVD is matching BD in # titles.

It's good? well I suppose it was kinda expensive wasn't it? If it's really good I"ll pick it up, do you strongly suggest it?

expensive? no, why did you say that.

As for suggesting it, I liked it, it is funny and interesting and a nice story, and unlike some others I did not regret a penny of what I spent. But I personal feel that movies tend to be a personal matter, and you also have to be in the right mood to fully enjoy them (probably why I prefer to buy rather then rent, I just pop in the right movie for the mood I am in). If you would like it, how should I know, I have ho idea what you do or don’t like.

I appreciate Keith's statements, but it sure is curious that Penton-Man talks about bringing incentives to the table but claims there is more money in "soft red suitcases" if it's only a question of pricing and interactivity that are destined to be delivered in the near term anyway.

Penton's statements and the common interpretation of kjack's statements appear to be contradictory is all I'm saying. YMMV.
Considering the Paramount/DW announcement, anyone want to rethink the importance of incentives? It ain't about pie-in-the-sky idealism. The reason Uni didn't go neutral is because the BDA didn't offer enough. What is it worth now? Buying Uni's neutrality several months ago would have made the battle over before Paramount/DW could throw a wrench in the works.
