Feels a bit cheap when Hill used James Horner. When the prisoner transfer bus gets flipped there's the Commando score briefly.

You mean in Another 48Hrs?

Horner's Commando score recycled a lot of stuff from his earlier 48Hrs score. Another 48Hrs just carries on the various themes from the first movie.

His music for Red Heat (another Hill film) also sounds remarkably similar to both 48Hrs & Commando. I guess Hill was a fan of the style. & hey, Horner was known as a composer who loved to repeat himself.


Count me in as another fan of Last Man Standing though. I also saw it in the cinema. I'd love it to get the Arrow treatment while Hill's still around to talk about it.

i hadn't heard of it until someone spotted an Arrow postcard of it a couple months back. Looks like a cool snapshot of the 80's hip hop / breakdancing NYC scene. Glad Arrow are taking a chance on it.

Great. Every movie has its worth and audience, without Arrow, VS, etc these films would languish in cinema limbo otherwise. We (including me) get too hung up on horror movies sometimes, not every one is into horror.
