I would rather have the Harlem Globetrotters/Super Globetrotters.

As for Esther, it is funny that she's there for maybe a few seconds towards the very end just as a weird inclusion.
To further add to Esther and this movie, she doesn't even seem to mention it in her autobiography, suggesting she didn't think it was worth doing so, or she just forgot about it.

Esther definitely has a few titles that I'd love to see make the jump (Easy to Love, Thrill of Romance, On an Island with You). The good news is George seems to be a fan, so I've got faith more titles will soon be joining the mix. I wish I was a bigger fan of Red Skelton, he's been turning me off from giving Bathing Beauty and Neptune's Daughter a chance. His whole schtick from what I've seen so far just hasn't clicked with me.

Yep, they seemingly did as a bonus feature for the MGM remake of Show Boat.

And it's just Till the Clouds Roll By and Thousands Cheer left for her color appearances. Quite a few of her B&W movies are left, but it'll be interesting to see if the Archive ever touches the 30's B pictures and the Andy Hardys.

I personally think this first wave should've had these titles.

A Summer Place
Quest for Camelot
Adam's Rib
Invisible Stripes
Tom Horn
Random Harvest
Greased Lightning and Moving Blu-Ray double feature
The Salton Sea
The Hill
Till The Clouds Roll By
The Outfit

This would've made everyone in the forum happy. We would've gotten stuff from the 30s-2000s.

Too bad this list is completely unrealistic, and would never happen. Sure there's no silent flicks, but there's two pre-Code titles, a 60s flick, two fifties titles, two 70s films, a 90s film, two eighties films, a musical from the 40s, and a film from the 2000s. This would be a great lineup I'm just wondering why George wouldn't do a lineup like this to satisfy everyone it makes perfect sense to me. Now this is a lineup that I would buy almost every title of without question.

Second wave mostly horror flicks

The Halloween Tree
She
Nightwatch
Phantom of the Rue Morgue
Goober and the Ghost Chasers, or Funky Phantom
Hysteria
Svengali

What makes you think that some of these titles aren't in the works for the future? George has indicated they are currently working on 79 feature films. Yes, he can go ahead and release these now using older masters. Then you all would be complaining about how crappy they look and why did they not use new masters. Patience is a virtue.

Looking forward to finding out which titles will be among the likely second set of announcements for late-October (just The Racket that I'm interested in among the titles for the middle of next month).

Frank Sinatra's performance of Old Man River at the of the film is breathtaking!

Default Cinema experience

All my life I have wanted a cinema in my home and 2 years ago when I had an extension to my house built, it became real. All I can say is, the experience improves everything I watch and gives me real appreciation of the craft of film making.

I am watching the first season of Bewitched on the big screen at the moment. It is gorgeously shot and looks amazing. Real craftspeople back then.

The Racket is a definite purchase. Rafferty is a probable. A Summer Place is a maybe.

As for Curse of Frankenstein, I pre-ordered the limited edition UK 4K boxset as it is a huge title for me so I splurged.
