Whether or not we ever see a game like this, you have to agree that the PS3 as a lot of untapped potential - look at Resistance 1 - Ratchet & Clank - Resistance 2 by Insomniac. Each game get graphically better. R&C is only a 2nd gen game!!! We're only a year or so into the PS3's lifespan.

I checked into this rumor. If the BBC reporter saw what I think he saw, then no, he was not talking about Linger in Shadows.

You are probably right, because the BBC reporter talked about a change or evolution in gaming. This is a playable demo. I was saying "yep" about someone getting in trouble over this. Look at how fast it was taken down of the web (like Sonic on Youtube).

I'm also of the opinion, having watched the video, that this is a demo, not a game and unlikely to be the secret title that that BBC journo saw.

I hope whatever the BBC guys saw is still under wraps, maybe we'll get to see something of it at E3?

I do have a real problem with information on games being released way to early; look at Little Big Planet and Home - if Sony had kept them under wraps then A) the competition doesn't get wind of them and B) we get some great new stuff without having to wait too long.

It seems like the games world thinks we want to know about new games as soon as someone comes up with the idea! No, tell us 6 months before release, plenty of time to get excited without the endless waiting!

I don't know for sure, but it's possible we'll see something at E3. That particular project has been flying very low on radar (though not as low as Linger in Shadows, as one of my contacts didn't even know what LiS was when I asked about it).

I think in the case of Home it was necessary to build a little knowledge since they were going into closed beta.

LittleBigPlanet could use some more marketing push - it's looking to be a really standout title, but it's true the delays have hurt it somewhat.
