Check your BD player settings and make sure you're outputting 1080p. Have you changed the factory settings of your TV? You're going to have to give us a little more info here.

You may be seeing grain or noise.

Just what I was thinking. Depending on what movie you are watching.

its like when im watching 1080p or blu ray, when i look at the picture it is fuzzy? Not alot but its annoying, 1080i on the tv is very clear and i love the picture when im watching tv. but when it comes to blu ray its pretty fuzzy, dark knight=blu ray and 300 dvd is when i notice it the most. I have it set to cinema because that seems to have the least amount of distortion vivid is unbarable to watch in blu ray? im getting worried that something is wrong

Whenever you see noise the first thing to adjust is the sharpness. What you are seeing might just be film grain. But this can be exaggerated by having the sharpness too high. 300 is intentionally grainy btw.

Here's an example of what grain looks like:

The picture on the right has grain. The one on the left has almost none, Digital noise reduction applied. Of course without the grain you lose plenty of fine detail.
