Exclamation Farewell Prison Break. Thanks for the Swan Ride. Official Thread

Wow. Just wow. Fantastic ending. Though sad. I'm very sad, but happy how it ended.

Thoughts?

The very ending was totally unnecessary.

horrible horrible finale and not just cause michael died because that woulda been fine, but there are so many plot holes and illogical scenarios here

kellerman as a congressman- the man was a hired assasin, who killed multipule people, he may have cleaned up himself but no way he is a congressman considering his entire story is on record when he testified at sara's trial, this would be the equivalent of letting charles manson be a congressman

how does sucre cnote and kellerman get to miami in 2 hrs driving?

michael is a free man why not get surgery for his tumor from real doctors, and even if it is fatal why not show that in the finale

why is sara arrested for christinas murder, she was exonerated with everyone else, christina was a mass murderer, and a employee of the company, and she was going to kill michael, self defense? also if kellerman has all these connections wouldnt it have been easy to get sara off

they got syclla in the right hands, but how does that take down the company, yes krantz was captured but he has operatives everywhere he could have escaped rather easily, and if the company is indeed brought down wouldnt it have been logical to show that, maybe show a few arrests of company agents, or something

overall this finale was a giant waste of time after the first hr, and while ill watch final break because im a loyal fan of the show, this finale leaves a very bitter feeling, the writers could have easily come up with a much better finale that would have rewarded the fans of this show but they decided to give us a inconherent 2nd hr instead.

I greatly disagree. The ending is sad because Michael sacraficed himself for everyone else. He could not save himself. We have real closure. No room for movie sequel bull crap. There is no movie without Michael Scofield - period.

Let's stop raising the dead. Let the show rest in peace. I suppose you enjoyed the ending of The Sopra....

It was worth something. It was worth his life. It's the Jesus Christ complex. He had to die for the sake of everyone else. I just doubt he'll be back.

Michael is in the movie (finale). I can only assume that the movie takes place between the exoneration and his death... since the movie is about Michael breaking Sara (and their unborn child) out of prison (along with Gretchen's help)... possibly even resulting in his death.

HORRIBLE series finale!

Ah crap. I forgot about the 4 year time gap.

Listen, this is how Hollywood works these days. Everything will have a pseudo ending to make room for a movie. We will forever be teased with "the end is near" and it doesn't end when it should.

Personally, I'll be pissed if there is a movie. Though I am curious what happened to Gretchen.

Ok, let's say Michael lived. Happy ending.. The End. Roll credits and close the theater. You would have preferred that? I am sad that I don't know how much of his son he got to see, but the ending was real.

T-bag gets to rule in hell rather than serve in heaven, and the General fried like a chicken. What is more gratifying?

Personally, I would have preferred the General having to hold T-Bag's pocket... instead of getting electrocuted, but maybe that's just me...

michaels death rly isnt the thing that bothered me, its the plot holes i outlined above, kellerman was a congressman?, cnote sucre and kellerman drive to fl in like 45 mins from chicago?, its things like this that knocked the finale down for me, krantz being in jail, and the company dissapearing with no logical explanation

I doubt the perceived travel time is intentional. I assumed it took time for them to get there and they simply cut to the gathering.

The ending is poetic. For the General to have lived and become T-bags be'otch would have made the ending funny - not serious. Though I admit getting a chuckle seeing him get his.

I was making a joke about the General.

It was only Michael's ending I had an issue with.

I knew I should have stopped watching after Michael had a nose bleed at the beach. Really sad ending.

Still, it was a great finale. Can't believe it's finally over.

Hahaha from reading all the angry posters here it looks like Prison Break didn't disappoint in it's level of shitness. I stopped watching after season 2 because it got so horrible, and I knew after all the hype the last month the finale would suck. Glad I never wasted my time again, i'd rather have some alone time with a cheese grater than watch another episode of this show..........

the 2 episodes will be released direct to dvd and blu ray as prison break the final break

those 2 episodes take place between the exoneration, and the flash foward 4 yrs they showed

the premise is basically that sara is arrested for christinas murder, krantz is in the same prison and bitter about his demise he places a bounty on saras head, and the gang bands together one last time to break sara out, also this episode will explain michaels death fully.
