New Cell phone

Ok so i finally stepped into the 21st century and purchased a new phone. Have not had one since the first model flip phones in which i accumulated over 200 dollar bills which leads me to about 15 years later and finally getting another one.

I bought a moto krave zn4 smart phone, was a decent deal and like it's look and features, looking to get a micro sd card and im getting confused since this is all new to me. I found a bunch for a good price on new egg but want to get the maximum 8gb but do not see it in a micro sd form, only a micro sdhc. My question is this still a micro sd card and the hc only means high capacity or is this card a different format and will it not work?

One thing i didn't like is i had to purchase 6 months of the vcast service which i really do not need, not sure if this was just special to only best buy online or if Verizon does this with all new contracts?

the hc just means "high capacity." its not a different format. as long as your phone supports an 8gb micro you're good to go. you can cancel the vcast service as well. just call verizon and have them take it off. be prepared to hassle with them as they will try to sell you other things and "convince" you that you need the vcast.
