Lost remote. - Blu-ray Forum

I somehow lost the remote to my Blu Ray player. I emailed phillips and they offered to sell me a replacement..... for $30!!!! Are there any universal remotes that I can program to use with my BD player?

You need to start doing what my silly parents do. Get a key finder and put one of its locators on your remote. I simply don't ever take mine out of the room they're used in. I have 3 -
TV
DVD recorder
PS3
They're all very specific too so nobody else ever thinks about taking them.

Did you check between the cushions?

Seriously though... unless you were wanting to get a universal for the purpose of controlling multiple pieces of equipment, you might as well plop down the 30 bucks to get a replacement from them. You'd spend more than on a universal remote, anyway. (Just my opinion!)
