I voted for adult because I see no reason why a self respecting person who is by the way, getting it themselves, would feel the need to watch other people have sex.

i voted musicals. these movies give me headaches and who the hell walks around singing about crap all day. you can get all your "adult" needs from the magic porn box you are starring at right now so there is no real good reason for buying or renting a physical disc.

because we are not self respecting Father Merrin. Now go away and peddle your personal views on that subject elswhere!

I would say Star Trek remakes need to go. Too bad that choice was not up there. Also any film that overrated hack Peter Jackson makes/ Rings/ Hobbit etc.

I would end romantic drama/comedy genre movies. They are useless garbage that do nothing but indulge and encourage females to believe that men in real life should be exactly as romantic as the ones in the movies. I believe in romance, but in the same way that action and sci-fi movies are exagerated and far fetched the same can be said for romance films...the difference is we all know that the events happening in action/sci-fi films are ficticious and are likely to never occur in real life. I wonder if the makers of these romantic films realize that they are giving so many women nothing but false hope?

I let my wife read your post. She asked if I agreed with you, and now I'm in the doghouse.

I was caught in between the powerpoint-type graphics of anime and spoof comedies. But Date Movie and similar titles helped to lean me more towards spoof comedies.

Definitely Anime. I can't believe that adults actually watch that crap.

Also, super-gory horror movies.

spoof comedy...used to be an awesome genre with Airplane, Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, Naked Gun, etc but now with Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, Dance Flick, etc its been awful...Either Mel Brooks should come back and make another spoof movie or they should just give up on the genre...

went with Documentary (from the list), real documentaries can be interesting but most of the time what passes as documentaries in films is just propaganda. But if I went would other, either chick flick or "based on a real life story" would get my vote.

Chick flicks just because you know sooner or later (you have no choice) you will be dragged to one and hate it.
and "real life story" because you know the only thing taken from "real life" was an overly exaggerated headline in a news paper and everything else just made up

Anime is dope! The stories are generally well made. some good Anime films are: Spirited Away, Princess Moninoke, Animatrix, Ghost in a Shell, Ninja Scrolls, etc. I def prefer Anime to american cartoons.
