Awful title but what do you expect when they're relying on "Terrorist connotations" from the word Taliban to spread word of mouth. Morons.

I find all these movies about "Moslems" Hollywood does a load of crap. Fuelled by political propaganda agendas. Even that tripe American Sniper and the 'millions' of people they had chasing them and didn't get killed. 'Merica, F**ck Yeah(!)"

BTW, isn't the fella's memoir / book named 'The Taliban Shuffle'? I guess they could've renamed the film if they'd wished to, but it's OK, IMO.

Tina Fey stars as a foreign war correspondent in the upcoming Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, based on the acclaimed memoir by journalist Kim Barker entitled The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Barker's 2011 memoir was hailed as a surprisingly funny - but harrowing - chronicle of the adrenaline-fuelled life of a war reporter. In the trailer released this week by Paramount Pictures, it's clear that Whiskey Tango Foxtrot follows in much the same vein - hilarious clips highlighting Fey's comedic talents, interspersed with military gun fights and explosions.

The war comedy also stars Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman and Billy Bob Thornton. It's slated to hit Canadian theatres in March.
