Talking New Panasonic BD player...

I just saw the new panasonic BD at my local BB and the picture looks asome DVD upconversion real good but this dont have ethernet port for updates on the feature.

Panasonic's been more proactive in supporting BD. They usually have a firmware update available for download on their site that you can burn to a CD-R before discs with new features that have caused problems during testing have even been released. The lack of ethernet seems a non-issue when you consider they're offering better product support than anybody else, except maybe for the PS3.

That kind of doesn't make sense for them not to add a ethernet port.
