Default Audio issues with John Adams on PS3

Not sure the best forum to post this in, but I was hoping I might be able to get some advice on some audio issues I've been experiencing with the John Adams blu ray.

Now I've downloaded all the latest firmware and have tested other movies without any issues. For whatever reason when I play John Adams I can get the background sounds without any issue (and people talking in background), but there's no audio for when the main characters are speaking. Oddly, I've had the same issue with the theme song of True Blood, which also is done by HBO in which the video plays fine but the song doesn't... the rest of the audio is fine after this.

I'm running the movie on a PS3 from a HDMI to a Pioneer Kuro television. I recently disconnected it from a receiver and speakers, so I'm not sure if I switched any settings at some point. I believe the audio on the PS3 is set to Linear PCM.

I'm sure there's some incredibly simple solution I'm missing, but the fact that other movies work fine has thrown me for a loop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
