Default Post your "Game Mode" settings!

Trying to figure out mine, in a Samsung LN40B650, to make it look similar to what it does in movie mode, only that while using game mode.

Pointless to ask as people's settings if you hope to use on same & similar TV as they vary immensely due to not being confined to industry standards like movies are but personally i find my personal calibrated movie settings fine for game use

But a rule of thumb is to tweak them till your personally happy but if your TV has a game mode i would use that & change settings there so i've got reduced input lag as well

I also have a samsung LCD tv 40'' with a gaming mode. I've used a movie with calibrated option (I think it was cars) while in gaming mode so I use that mode whenever I watch a movie or play a game.

I have an LN40B540, and I'm thinking about turning off Game Mode because its icon is that of a failure controller.

Also, I detect no observable difference when I use it.

You may want to actually change the picture settings in that game mode per my recommendation as it will vastly improve the picture & more than likely to your liking

You may think there isn't but actually i'm almost certain you'll have reduced input lag which is a big factor in online games as you want the least possible from the TV & internet connection
