There she goes, saying it like it is again. I think he'll get over it for the third; he can see the forest through the trees.

But did she say anything that wasn't true? I mean at least when Spielberg cast Jurassic Park he told them up front that the movie was going to be about dinosaurs and not acting.

I have never heard anyone say she is a good actor, only that she is good eye candy.

He does make some valid points about his casting choices.

Truer words have never been written.

Without Transformers, she would still be an extra on Two and a Half Men or piggybacking Mary Kate and Ashley trying to break out of her modeling gig.

For some reason, after Bay, people take her opinion and acting ability seriously, instead of just her half nekid body.

Well, she has a point. Basically what she was saying was that in this (and all of Michael DoucheBay's movies) is that the acting can be crummy, cause the director has no sense of story, all he cares about is the action, which is poorly shot and edited. He's the reason why this movie sucked, and why the sequel will suck - unless Spielberg regains the mindset he had 15 years ago and takes the helm, or at least fires DoucheBay for someone else.

Bay is a douche with the ego to match...even if he did build these actors' careers (which is doubtful, especially for Will Smith who has always been great) you don't go announcing that kind of thing to the world

Meghan Fox should have been more tactful, but I think she's right about the acting and story taking second base. I don't think grateful is the right word for what she should feel since with the way she looks she could probably have landed a number of similar roles in big blockbuster franchises (this IS Hollywood) while her acting is sub par at best, as is Shia's (Fox did a better job than him by far) the acting and story are sort of blasted out of your senses while you're watching the movie because the effects are so amazing (and this kind of thing is always about the effects...it's a story about robots, Shia and Meghan's characters are really meant to take back seat) it's like a weird piece of gum that tastes good while you're chewing but leaves a bad after-taste...same thing with the story and acting....you enjoy the movie during the process and then afterwards it's like holy crap that plot point made no sense, or Sam doesn't undergo any sort of watershed moment or transforming experience given that he is a hero in an epic where he is supposed to grow and develop as a character

yeah Fox and Bay are both in the wrong in their own ways

Yeah i see what mega fox (yes mega) is saying, but if she meant it the way you're interpreting then she worded it horribly...

Bay has a point as well in that his movies are not drama suspense, they're action. And if i have to sacrifice tear-jerking love scenes for jaw-dropping fight scene effects....that's cool with me . Mind you i watch all types of movies, so i don't think i'm bias...biased...bias? lol

Megan Fox is extremely UNgrateful.

I'd fire her for those comments myself from a 3rd movie (and forget about her for any other projects also).

Michael Bay is a great director... not the best, but a great one.

He makes more money in a year than (probably) ANYBODY on this entire site. I think it's just jealousy that we all say his stories suck (which is the job of the writers!), the acting is poor (which is the job of the actors!). Bay does his job, and he does it well. How much money has transformers ALONE made?

And it's true, Bay does cast actors as their just getting into their prime.

Here is Will Smith's REAL movie list in order, some of you have it a little wrong:

Where the day takes you (1992)
Made in America (1993)
Six degrees of separation (1993)
Bad Boys (1995) (you could say, his first REAL role other than Fresh Prince)
Fresh Prince (1990 - Ended in 1996)
Independance Day (1996)
Men in Black (1997)
Enemy of the State (1998)
Wild Wild West (1999)
so forth and so forth

And if you think Shia had a big role in I-Robot, it's probably a total of 2 minutes?
Shia's first REAL role was in "The greatest game ever played" in 2005. I think Shia's BEST role was when he starred in "Even Stevens" on the Disney Channel, GREAT SHOW!

Michael Bay creates SUPER-stars out of just-stars. In the case of Megan Fox, he made her a star out of nothing... I'd be grateful if i were in her shoes.
