Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of jumping into blu-ray very soon, since I'm going to be replacing my old Denon AVR-3600, which just blew it's center channel amp. I might as well get something, now that I can enjoy the new audio AND video formats! Here's the catch: my new receiver (either a Denon 1909 or 2309, can't decide...) will have HDMI, but my TV (Toshiba 65h80) does not. Am I able to run HDMI to my new receiver for hi-def audio, while ALSO running component to the receiver and / or the TV? Does this ability vary based on the blu-ray machine? (I'm thinking of getting the Panasonic BD-60.) Thanks! -Brian |
