Overscan with rear projection TV's is normal. It is one drawback to the tech. Most sets exhibit 3-5% overscan. If you are trying your display as a PC monitor, usually a custom resolution must be used, which will be slightly less than 1920 x 1080 to account for the overscan.

Does the A3000 really have overscan or is part of the image missing only because of the bezel?
I asked because this display does 1:1 pixel mapping and full single pixel resolution. If the image was overscanned, I don't see how this would be possible. On any rate, I've mine for over two years now and it's an awesome display when properly calibrated. |

Some sets (I know the Mitsubishi DLP's have this) offer a viewing mode that resizes the image to eliminate overscan. However, you are using a resolution slightly below 1920 x 1080 (1080p) and losing 1:1 pixel mapping in this mode.
