I'm a little confused as to what will be in volume 4. I just saw that MGM/FOX will release License to Kill' and 'The Man With the Golden Gun' in May. But I was just in Best Buy and they had a boxset with Quantum of Solace and those two films on Blu-ray??? So what is exactly going to be in Vol. 4. Should I pick that boxset up? Will Quantum be released in the traditional Blu-ray disc sets???

The boxset with Quantum of Solace, Man with Golden Gun and License to Kill is a Best Buy exclusive til May, thats when they will release those 2 individually (and hopefully in steelbook) everywhere else.
So far those 2 are scheduled for May and probably another (hopefully Goldeneye or Tomorrow Never Dies). As for picking up the Boxset, if you don't already have Quantum and don't care for the steelbooks then go for it, seems like a good deal (about $20 a movie). |

I seriously doubt Quantum of Solace will appear in one of the official 'Volume' sets anytime soon, I think there's a better chance of Casino Royale joining the last volume then anything else. To those curious the remaining Bonds are: May 12th release (except Best Buy): The Man with the Golden Gun, Licence to Kill Unknown: You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Diamonds Are Forever, The Spy Who Loved Me, Octo*****, A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies |

![]() Goldeneye is ok (rather over rated IMO) The spy who loved me was pretty solid. Enjoyed it Diamonds are forever is the worst Bond movie I've ever seen (and yes I've Seen Moonraker) |

I bought that set on release day, but the first thing I noticed about the set was an error on the UPC/data card stuck to the outside of the box. If you look under the run time and year for "Licence To Kill" it says 1974/125 mins and for "The Man With The Golden Gun" it says 1989/133 mins.

The vol. 4 box is released in Scandinavia as well, and it doesn't look like vol. 1, 2 and 3... Looks a bit "unofficial".
I'm waiting for the May release of Man With the Golden Gun and License to Kill, as I'm sure Quantum of Solace will get the 2-disc special edition treatment that Casino Royale got (and therefor I would be forced to double dip if I bought the vol. 4 box with the singel disc Quantum). |

Technically the BB QoS/LTK/TMWTGG is not volume 4, just a specal BB set.
Am I the only one here who really does not care about GE??? (I'm guessing it was the first Bond movie most people on this board saw) I really want OHMSS and TLD (both far superior to Brosnan's efforts). My 3rd choice would be TSWLM (Moore at his best). |

no you're not. I thought Goldeneye was a very mediocre bond film and one of Brosnan's worst next to DaD. Tomorrow never dies was easily his best film followed by "The world is not enough" which was only hampered by Denise Richard's AWFUL acting.

I don't think we will be seeing anything Bond related for a while seen as MGM are in the **** and are currently in the process of selling off their whole library. Hopefully next year we will see the rest of the films make their way to Blu-ray.

Fox is currently MGM's distributor. They may or may not buy the library; many other companies are also interested, including Warner Bros. (who owns the pre-1986 MGM/non-UA library).
