Little Help

HI, i love my PS3 gaming and most of all love the way it eased me into online gaming hassle free but recently i began to notice some problems.

When i try to chat to some friends or try to enter games with friends, it sometimes is affected, i think this is due to my NAT type which is 3.

When i did an internet connection test from the Network settings on the XMB it showed me i was running at NAT 3 and this may restrict my chat and game functions, i just wonder if anybody else was having this problem and managed to get their NAT type to NAT 2.

All help and solutions appreciated and i'm using a NETGEAR router if that's ay help, look forward to your solutions

there is a link to wiki explaining NAT .. basiclly its firewall protection that can if its to high cause major lag online. Which in my case it did, and lots of other problems... there is also a link to compatible routers that xbox 360 says work. I also have one of those and I couldnt be more happy when i replaced my expesnive junker for one on the list... i actually had it worse i was at nat4 with my linksys, there are some "easy" i guess steps to try but if you have no idea what your doing I wouldnt really fool around with it just pick up a new router if its really buggin you. my personal router now is the netgear WPN824 right after set up my nat was down to 2 and everything was runnning better than ever b4 its pretty cheap now.. hope that helps
