Clive Barker's petition to get Nightbreed Director's cut released

Alot of you might not know or remember this flick but if you do there's a petition started by Clive Barker himself to get his 1989 classic horror flick "Nightbreed" restored to his original 159 minute Director's cut. The film was cut, recut, cut, and recut again and again until it was watered down enough for 20th Century Fox/Morgan Creek's 101 minute release. Clive Barker thought this footage was long lost and has complained about it for years.

Recently the footage has been found and he is fighting to get it restored and released to dvd and blu ray. The only problem is the suits that hold all of the lost footage say "no" because there wasn't enough audience for the film. "Not even worth the cost to upgrade to Blu-ray"

Personally It's one of my favorite movies. Although it's slightly cheesy film making I would love to see the movie how it was meant to be and not some stupid studio's idea of what would sell.

With the amount of shit films they are putting out lately I don't see why not...
